Notice
Due to the upgrading of the computer system for registration, the NZ
Arab Horse Society foal registrations for 2004/5 will not be started
for a few weeks. The system is being upgraded to speed up the entering
of mare returns and to become more "user friendly". Over time this is
expected to save the Secretary a considerable amount of time. If you
urgently need a registration number for Showing purposes, please contact
Robin Hill or one of the Council members for assistance. |

WAHO Trophy

The inaugural winner of this prestigious Trophy Winner, presented for the
first time at the 2005 NZAHBS Annual General Meeting held in Cambridge, April
23-34, was Willowvale Picasso (Eastwinds Axiom+AU x Taralea Trafieya).

WAHO Trophy

This beautiful bronze trophy, to be awarded each year to a purebred horse, was
specially commisioned by WAHO from German artist/scupltor Mrs Brigitte Eberl.
Recipients will also receive a special Certificate as a permanent reminder of

NZ national Arabian Show
9 March 2005
Day one of the New Zealand Arabian National Title Show dawned bright and
clear with a light breeze. The venue at Cambridge Lodge was superb and
the hard work put in by organisers paid dividends, with a record number
of 120 entries. The judge was John Power from the USA. John had trained
and shown horses at National level in halter, English, western and driving,
and recently judged at the prestigious Scottsdale Arabian show.
