Editorial and Advertising Specifications

Advertising Specifications:

Advertisements may be supplied in the following ways: as PSD, JPG, PDF, or TIF file, sized to A5 (if ad is half-page, supply as half A4)

please ensure the resolution is 300dpi. For any other formats please check first. Advertising payment terms:

Payment terms are strictly seven days from date of invoice. Booked advertising may be cancelled up to 10 days before deadline, or charges will be incurred.

Please contact r.major@paradise.net.nz for any special placement requests.

Advertising design service:

Should you need to have your advertisement designed by the NZAHBS, please ask. Rates will be advised.

Editorial Contributions:

Articles should be supplied electronically but if this is not possible, typed on A4 for text scanning.

Submissions can include:

feature articles

news/current events

breeder profiles

regional news

stud news

show results

letters to the editor should be no longer than 300 words, and must include a name and address.

Photographs accompanying articles are encouraged, and should be sent as per the below specifications. Pictures of lower resolution or smaller file size can be acceptable - please ask.

Magazine deadlines:

Arabianz is configured based on the number of articles, their sizes, and the advertising volume. For this reason deadlines must be strictly adhered to.

Photographic contributions:

Photographs submitted for consideration for the front cover or other editorial use should be of 300dpi resolution. Prospective cover photographs should be of 300dpi or with a print size of 20.5cm x 29cm. Files can be emailed to r.major@paradise.net.nz, or supplied on CD, or sent as prints, by post to PO Box 25 324, Christchurch.. Please supply SAE for return of photographs or disks.
